UC CITCS Multimedia Arts Students Win National Champions in Digital Arts Competition

Second-year Bachelor of Multimedia Arts (BMMA) students from the University of the Cordilleras College of Information Technology and Computer Science (CITCS) brought pride to the university after emerging as Champions in the Motion Graphics Category of the National Digital Arts Awards 2024.

The awarding ceremony was held on March 27, 2025, at the Maybank Performing Arts Theater in Bonifacio Global City. The winning team was composed of Jose Allan D. de Ocampo, Miguel P. Gumiran, Jonyl Troy B. Mortela, and Witzen F. Soliven.

Their achievement reflects the creativity, technical competence, and dedication of UC’s BMMA students in the field of digital arts. Through their winning motion graphics work, the team demonstrated strong skills in visual storytelling, design, animation, and innovative digital production.

The recognition also highlights the commitment of CITCS to developing industry-ready multimedia professionals equipped with both technical expertise and creative vision. It affirms the college’s continuing efforts to provide students with relevant learning experiences that prepare them for the evolving creative and technology industries.
