Baguio City, Philippines – September 11, 2025 – The College of Information Technology and Computer Science (CITCS) conducted its official college orientation for the 1st Term, School Year 2025–2026 on September 9, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, at the UC Gymnasium.

The event was organized to welcome new and returning students, introduce them to the values and vision of the college, and provide them with important updates for the academic year. It served as a platform to familiarize students with college policies, student services, academic requirements, and upcoming programs and activities designed to enrich their learning experience.

This year, CITCS proudly welcomed 2,200 enrolled students, reflecting the continued growth of the college and its vital role in shaping future IT and Computer Science professionals.

Faculty members, administrators, and student leaders were present to extend their guidance and support. Key speakers highlighted the importance of academic excellence, discipline, and collaboration, organizations and extracurricular opportunities within CITCS.

The orientation not only prepared students for the year ahead but also encouraged them to actively engage in both academic and co-curricular activities. It emphasized the importance of building a supportive community, fostering innovation, and preparing future IT and computer science professionals to become contributors to societal development.
